Backpack Giveaway
Our First Annual Backpack Giveaway was a huge success, we put smiles on many faces, giving out over 100 Backpacks filled with School Supplies and Hygiene Bags to children and families in need. There were free hair cuts, donuts, water and music. We had a special surprise, winners received a gift card for $25.00 to help with any additional items needed. It was a great day for all who came out, and we know after this event these children will have a strong start to a new school year!
Holiday Gift Bag Giveaway
More than 100 deserving children enjoyed our First Holiday Gift Bag Giveaway! Holidays are a special time of the year, and children should have a joyful experience. With your help, we were able to bring holiday cheer to those in need. We provided Holiday Gift Bags, stuffed with hygiene items, hats, socks, headphones, games, school supplies and a whole lot more. In addition, gift cards were awarded to a father of 7 children to help purchase clothes for his family. We are here to remind children that they have not been forgotten, together we will continue to make a difference!
Easter Bag Giveaway
Every child received and Easter Bag filled with candy, toys, schools supplies, chalk, personal care items and many more trinkets. Easter bags bring happiness and excitement to the lives of less fortunate children during the Easter Holiday. We were able to touch many lives but we were also touched by the gratitude of the children and their families. We enjoyed watching them smile and run and play with the gifts they received, they couldn't wait to open those bags.
Fall Backpack Giveaway
More than 200 backpacks filled with school supplies were distributed to elementary, middle school, and high school students. In additions we provided Bombas socks, food and drinks for everyone who visited us. Our backpack giveaway provides relief to parents struggling to purchase school supplies for their children. It’s our honor to offer this service to families with the help of our volunteers, board members, and donors we are helping to change many lives.
Winter Holiday Giveaway
Many children are not fortunate enough to receive gifts during the holidays. Getting together as a community to collect toys for children is a great opportunity to put a smile on a young and innocent face. With your help, we were again, able to bring holiday cheer to those in need. We supplied Holiday Gift Bags, stuffed with hygiene items, socks, headphones, toys, games, school supplies and a whole lot more. In addition, Ross gift cards were awarded to a father of 6 children to help purchase clothes for his children. Because of your donations, together we have improved our community and the lives of many.
Holiday Giveaway COVID Style
The pandemic has been tough on the children and their families this year. Underneath those masks were many smiling faces, with squeals of joy bursting through. With your help, we were again, able to bring holiday cheer to those in need. We supplied Holiday Gift Bags, stuffed with hygiene items, hand sanitizer, socks, headphones, games, school supplies and a whole lot more. Each child received a special toy of their choice, and the older children received backpacks filled with school supplies as well. We are grateful to all the donations received which made it possible to bring cheer to this very trying year. We hope we inspired families not to give up, and spread kindness to others.
