ON A MISSION TO GIVE STUDENTS THE TOOLS THEY NEED TO SUCCEED
Wave of Hearts is a 501c3 community based non-profit, whose goal is to bridge the achievement gap between high and low income students by subsidizing necessary support. We believe every student deserves the same opportunity despite their economical circumstance. Through strong leadership and community involvement Wave of Hearts will provide classroom supplies to low income students, teacher grants to support classroom projects and scholarships to students that attend public school in the Tri-County area. Wave of Hearts also plans to provide scholarship opportunities for students to excel in sports, arts and humanities.
In Florida, more than 22% of children live in extreme poverty. These children arrive the first day of school without the necessary supplies needed to learn. Lack of school supplies creates a barrier to a child's ability to learn and develop as future successors. When families have to choose between basic necessities or schools supplies, this becomes an extremely difficult decision to make. As a result, the financial burden has shifted from parents, to tightly budgeted school districts, onto to our teachers themselves. Wave of Hearts is dedicated to meeting the needs of our children across the state. We are committed to providing the opportunity for students to receive the best education possible, and create an equal environment for all students to succeed. With your help we can provide free schools supplies to students and teacher through out the school year, so our children can have a bright future.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We began this nonprofit organization to help support children in need. Every child deserves the best education possible. Our dream is for all children to feel valuable and empowered to be all they can be despite their economic circumstances, and for all others to see and believe in the power of giving!
